Dear all, this is my first post, you figured that much. Just a little about myself. I'm a student, knowing only a very small portion of the riches of Earth and life. I seek to enhance my knowledge of life and living.
To be perfectly honest I'm not very satisfied with my choice of university study, maths healthily promotes a monochrome imagination without surround sound.
Now in my second year at uni I'm finding it harder and harder to decide what to do after I graduate, assuming that I do; choices such as going into finance, investment banking and the rest of the high salary club only seem appealing because of the money. I have almost no idea what a day in the life of an investment analyst involves or his analysis consultant's day for that matter. The only certainty seems to be they have a lack of leisure and pleasure time, with something like 12 hour days and the wonderful prospect of at least one weekend in the office per month. What do they do!? I wish someone would enlighten me.
Thats enough from me for now. I hope this blog will turn into a collection of my thoughts and experiences; or maybe not, we'll see how it goes. Peace
